Kangaroo Kourt was originally setup as a DIY art-space located in a residential street in Horfield, North Bristol in 2002.

Showing many local artists, it created a new social hub for artists from varied social backgrounds and ages. It has evolved into a front for a network of artists working across artistic environments created within residential, street, stage, reclaimed, disused, donated and rented spaces.

Kangaroo Kourt has no existing written manifesto- except we believe that art is a 'doing thing' and have contributed to the thriving DIY art scene in Bristol and Bath.

Members involved in this project include Hal Camplin, Rebecca Swindell and Hazel Hammond. gHOSTbOY and Pete Hunter were involved at the research stage.
