Setup in 2003, rednile are a collaborative art group based in Sunniside, Sunderland. They provide opportunities for artists to work on temporary projects making new work in interesting venues with the support of a fee, promotion, and residency and/or exhibition. Recent projects have included 'Temporary Address', a year long project based in Blyth, Northumberland where rednile commissioned 3 artists to make temporary public art works in the town centre. They curated a group exhibition that included work from rednile artists and 2 invited artists in a Hub Site for the project. The project also included the mentoring of 2 MA students and conducting a series of master class's with A-level students at Blyth Community College.

Members participating in this project include Janine Goldsworthy, Suzanne Hutton and Michael Branthwaite.
