My work focuses on installations, series and artist's books, which examine different environments, memories and obsessions
and use every aspect of the working process in the finished piece to make it far removed from its
starting point. Documenting the passing of time and recording incidences or clues which mark and anchor it are important
to me. Most of my work explores memory and the value (only visible to the individual) placed on places, shapes and objects
and the way pictorial information aids recollection - a secret language or visual code.
By putting my work back into an environment, it can influence and become part of the space, thereby becoming part of a
new time frame and reality during the time it exists there, while itself being a record of previous memories, events or incidences.
